A Little about me and my experience...: My calling to the media can be traced back to my childhood when I used to pretend being a television journalist. I started my profession at a student newspaper while studying my undergraduate degree in Journalism at the University of Pretoria. In terms of working experience, I have gained experience as a researcher and reporter in various media organisations such as Beeld and SABC Radio Current Affairs. The last two years I worked as a scriptwriter for two production companies – conceptualising and writing children’s television programming. I also wrote, scripting and directing two independent documentaries for the University of Pretoria’s centenary celebrations. I also wrote, co-directed and produced a feature film, Wolf Wolf, as part of my BTech degree in Film and TV Production at TUT, which I completed at the end of 2009. Currently I’m also freelancing as a script editor and co-producer of the independent film, 4000 Years in Africa.
