A Little about me and my experience...: Elvis Nkosi holds a Business Management Diploma,Selling skills Certificate,OHS Certificate,Advanced computer literacy• 1999 Elvis Nkosi started out in the Food and Beverage industry , as a food service assistant. Eager to learn and never shy to take on responsibilities, he started taking on more than one department. •2001 he was approached to manage the catering services of the company to its requirements.. and in 2003 he was approached by VODACOM in midrand….a different journey and has you exploring different cultures, races and classes. Every project has its own set of criteria and demands and therefore needs its own action plan and strategy.

Elvis Nkosi did a score for his first feature film in 2008, entitled MENDACITY, starring Presley Chweneyagae and Zenzo Ngqobe... He has worked on a number of other projects, including music videos and documentaries. Elvis has a background in finance and marketing, and worked for a division of Compass Group(VODACOM) &Catering Manager before migrating to film.

Discipline, reliability, punctuality, determination, passion, problem solving, people skills, respect and honour is but some of the characteristics needed to ensure that the project is mastered and seen to completion. Elvis have to motivate, inspire and give clear instructions to his staff when he deal with tight deadlines; it is long hours and impossible tasks that he had to be made possible (a can do attitude it what is needed). In the Film industry, you are only as good as your last project and so therefore, excellence is a prerequisite. There is no space for egos. I love the fact that each day has its own challenges and therefore as a person, I am constantly growing and exploring and I love throwing myself into new ventures and learning how to master them, if I have not been in that particular circumstance before, it is an honour. In my 13 years in the film industry, I have worked with the ‘cream of the crop’ in local and international crew, actors, production companies, advertising agencies & magazines. On some of the feature and dramas that I have worked, I have had to organize & negotiate sponsorship deals to help us out with the limits on our budgets. Within these 3 years, he have also worked with advertising agencies and production companies who needed him to market some of their projects, with setting things up and running the project.He is currently Producing State Enemy No.1
